Chaya Schapiro is a local fine artist in Columbia, MD. She specializes in oil paints and water colors, but also enjoys charcoal and pencil drawings, pottery, and quilting. Chaya frequently participates in local art openings and displays her work at her own art shows. She is currently in the process of finding a local art studio.

Her work is featured at Beached Blonde in Bethany, DE and has an upcoming show at Akins Gallary, Howard Community College, in October 2006 running through November 2006.
